Family Friendly Halloween Fun in Ontario
credit: Flickr
Most children (and Adults) are excited about Halloween.
For a few fun hours, anyone could be a superhero, princess, a ghost, witch or any popular character.
If you are looking for some Halloween activities that are more fun than scare, check out my list of Family-friendly Halloween fun below.
There are several Ontario attractions that offer a Halloween theme, ranging from haunted decorations, Costume Parades, hay wagon rides to trick or treating events.
These activities will get children into the Halloween spirit, yet they are less terrifying than your typical haunted houses.
Although if you have very young children events like the Toronto Zoo and local Pumpkin Fest might be your best bet. Some pre-schoolers are scared of small rubber spiders while others don’t bet an eye at the sight of a Zombie or Monster! I’ve seen toddlers squeal at the sight of a funny Jack-Oh-Lantern!
You know what’s best for your kids!
Ontario’s Corn Mazes and Haunted Mazes: Check out our list of Ontario Corn Mazes. Many of the Family Farms offer night walks, haunted corn mazes and also special Halloween activities for children. There is something for every age group!
