Fibre Choice supplements review and Deals
Like most Canadians, I thought that my diet contains a good amount of daily fibre.
My breakfast includes a bowl of oatmeal, some veggies and tuna salad for lunch and chicken, potato and salad for dinner.
That should be enough, right?
Not even close.
When I added the amount of my daily fibre intake, I came up with about 20 grams a day, which is only two-thirds of the recommended daily amount.
As I read in the Canadian Food Guide, a good number to shoot for is 30g, and a little more is even better.
You can increase your fibre by adding more foods like whole grain breads and pastas, natural rice, whole grain cereals, lentils, beans and peas. Plus add your daily five servings of vegetables and fruit.
To make it easier getting my daily 30g of fibre I have started checking out supplements and Fibre choice is a new one I came across recently.
I am not a huge fan of dissolving powders and grainy stuff in my drinks.
They often take nasty and if they do not they contain artificial flavours and sweeteners, which I am trying to avoid.
Looking for easy to take tablets and chewables led me to check out Fibre Choice.
About Fibrechoice.ca
Fibre Choice is a brand that sells fibre dietary supplements. These supplements help you get your daily recommended intake of fibre and special formulas are aimed at additional health benefits such as bone health and weight management.
Why Fibre?
Many of you know that fibre is known to help keep you ‘regular’ – but there are also a range of other benefits. Fibre supports your digestive system, helps maintain immunity, and promotes overall well-being. In regards to digestive health, fibre feeds the ‘good’ bacteria that live in your digestive system. These good bacteria keep the bad bacteria in check in order to keep your system healthy.
Dietary fibre is naturally found in a range of foods including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. Although it is possible to get your daily recommended level of fibre through diet alone, many people do not get as much fibre as they need. Fibre Choice supplements are an easy alternative, helping you get the daily dose of 25 to 30 grams of fibre without having to think about it.
Fibre Choice has a section of their website devoted to the benefits of fibre. To learn more about fibre and how it helps your health, go here.
