Changio App Review – Earning Rewards Made Easy

Changio.com App Review – Rewards Made Easy

changio app for groceries

My Experience with Changio

Since I finally got a new Samsung Note ( my old phone stopped charging)
I have been looking for new cool apps to add to my list and a friend referred me to Changio.

Boy, do I like this new Rewards app. I had previously downloaded cash back apps, but this one has some great new features that other ones don’t offer (yet).

This one let’s you earn cash cards and free gift cards like iTunes, Amazon, etc. (more below)

How to download Changio

Changio is available on Apple, and Google Play and you can create an account on their website here

First, you can collect points for groceries like Snap by Groupon, for example. But there are many more ways to earn rewards at Changio, including free ones. Changio offers are available at Ontario Grocery stores, Retailers, Malls, Cineplex Movies, and Restaurants.

You can get points for shopping at Supercenters like Target and Walmart and collect points  for spending f.e. $40 on any groceries.

Then there are rewards for shopping at Fashion Retailers (this week it was Aeropostale, Aritzia and Zara)

Restaurant Points

Changio also has Restaurant promotions. For example, I spent $10 at Subway and received 40 points for that. So far I have seen Restaurant deals for Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Pizza, Subway, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Kelsey’s, Red Lobster and East Side Mario’s. So there is quite a good variety of Restaurant deals on Changio.

I also went to the Maisonville Shopping Mall in my city, where all I needed to do was check in (no purchase required), and I received 50 points.

We also took advantage of the Cineplex movie deals, where we collected points for watching Nightcrawler (50 points).

All you needed to do was upload your receipts and the scanning worked perfect for me. I noticed that my points were always added within one day. Just make sure that you upload the whole receipt and that the image is clear enough to read the participating items.

Scanning Points

In addition, Changio does offer points for simply scanning items.
There is no purchase required to scan and earn.  I scanned this week’s offers, Cadbury Mini Eggs, Nestle water and got 5 points each.
Couldn’t find the Snickers Almonds bars at No Frills though.

New offers are posted on the Changio app every Wednesday at midnight.

Finally, you can rack up some more points by referring your friends and relatives via Twitter, Facebook or email. You will earn 10% of anything they are earning.
I received my link through my friend and if you enjoyed reading this post, you can sign up here and get a Rewards account at Changio.com through me.
