Octoberfest Events in Ontario
The world’s famous Octoberfest is coming up and if you cannot make it to Munich
to celebrate the authentic Oktoberfest food, beer, dance and live music, you will find great Bavarian Atmosphere right here in Ontario!
I have a number of fun Octoberfest celebrations lined up for you and while some of them are better suited to Adults (especially the evening programs) there are more and more October fest programs that promise fun and excitement for the whole family
Let’s start with the biggest Octoberfest Event outside of Germany and travel to Kitchener to celebrate the annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest which is the largest Bavarian Festival in North America!
Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest
From October 9th to October 17th Kitchener-Waterloo will again host Canada’s Largest Bavarian Festival. The 19 Festhallen, operated by German Clubs like the Alpine Club, Concordia Club, Hubertushaus, The Schwaben Club and Altes Muenchen Haus are a major draw with their keg beers, German food, traditional dancing and polka music.
Many events are scheduled during the Kitchener Oktoberfest which kicks off with the official keg-tapping at Kitchener City Hall (Friday)
Young and old can will enjoy Canada’s larOktoberfest Treasure Hunt gest Thanksgiving Day Parade (Monday, October 12ht), cultural attractions, and entertainment will fill the week. Take part in the annual and you could win $3,000!

Bingeman’s October Fest
Bingeman’s Oktoberfest celebrations
Come out to Bingeman’s BAVARIAN CARNIVAL during the week of October 9th until 17th.
Bingeman’s has dedicated a day of Family Fun On Saturday, October 10th.
It kicks off with the annual free October Family Breakfast between 7:30 am – 11:00 am
On Sunday, October 11th and Monday, October 12th, bring the kids to enjoy a day of rides, activities, games, food and more. The Bavarian Carnival is open from 10 am – 5 pm.

Adults evening program include the Brew Haus with its’ specialty beers and the Oktoberfest Kool House which serves up schnapps, food, music, and Bavarian atmosphere. (October 9th to 17th).
