About Ozery’s Pita Break
Ozery’s Pita Break is a bakery that was founded in 1996 in the back of a sandwich shop in Toronto. The small, family-owned business is run by father Al Ozery and his two sons, Alon and Guy, who learned the love of baking from their grandmother. The company grew slowly and in 1998 they began to sell pitas to local and specialty stores in downtown Toronto. As demand grew, they opened up a small commercial bakery to serve a larger part of Canada, and then in 2011 they expanded sales to the United States.
Products
Ozery’s Bakery sells a number of products, including:
- OneBun – A reinvention of the classic hamburger bun combined with the benefits of healthy whole grain. OneBuns are sold in Light Rye Zero Low Low, Sprouted Wheat Zero Low Low, Original Flax, Original Multi-Grain, 100 Calorie Multi grain, and Folded Flats Multi Grain varieties.
- Crispy Pitas – Toasted pita snacks sold in bags for snacking. Flavours include cranberry pumpkin seed, rosemary garlic, organic wheat, and organic spelt with flax.
- Large Pitas – Sold in regular, whole grain wheat, multi-grain, flax and organic whole wheat varieties.
- Mini Pitas – A smaller version that comes in regular and whole grain wheat varieties.
- Morning Rounds – A pita just for breakfast! Flavours include Muesli, Apple Cinnamon, Cranberry Orange, Multi Grain, and Date & Chia.
- Lavash Crackers – Low-fat crackers that are great with dips, spreads, soups or for snacking. Lavash crackers come in chipotle, apple & honey, flax & honey, multi-grain & honey, and organic spelt varieties.
- Just Minis – These are pre-sliced, bite-size pitas that are perfect for on-the-go snacking. Flavours include apple cinnamon, muesli, and multigrain.
